Ms. Evans’s Classroom Guide 

Rules:

  •  
    1. Bring all supplies to class every day (book, folder, pen/pencil, and binder).
    2. Do not talk or get up while Ms. Evans is instructing unless you have permission.
    3. Be in your seat and working on your bell ringer when the tardy bell rings.
    4. Respect Ms. Evans and all other students in the classroom.
    5. Ms. Evans dismisses you when the bell rings…the bell DOES NOT.

    6.   Ms. Evans does NOT take late work. 

Materials Needed:

  •  
    • ½ Inch Three-Ring Binder
    • Loose-Leaf Paper
    • Pencil or Pen (Black/Blue Ink ONLY)
    • One Yellow Highlighter
 

Expectations:

  •  
    • You will follow all of the rules that are listed above.
    • You will come to class each day prepared to work.
    • You will not whine about the amount of work we complete in class.
    • You will not talk about members of the faculty or other students in my classroom.
    • You will follow all rules set forth in the Morgan County Code of Conduct.
 

Discipline Procedures:

  •  
    • First Offense-verbal warning and a discipline form will be completed.
    • Second Offense-break detention or other punishment and discipline form.
    • Third Offense-parental contact and a discipline form will be completed.
    • Fourth Offense-discipline form completed and sent to principal for punishment.
    • Major Offenses-discipline form completed and sent to principal immediately.
 

Other Information: 

      Daily Grades are weighted ONCE.    Make a 100 =  (100 x 1)

      Test/Project Grades are weighted TWICE.  Make a 100 =  (100 x 2) 

      We are now on a NINE-WEEK grading period instead of SIX-WEEKS.
